On Monday 6th July Diamond Head entered Vigo studio in Walsall to begin recording a new album. The band reconvened in January and began trying out a batch of songs based on Brian’s home demos. After a few month of writing and rewriting, the band confirm that they are much happier and positive about this latest collection of songs. This is the first time in many years that the tracks have been worked on by the whole band together at the same time and in the same room, echoing the way in which Diamond Head used to write in the early days.
Although the album is as yet untitled, the band have revealed that among the songs being recorded are; Speed, Diamonds & Wizard’s Sleeve.

You guys were one of the first metal bands i ever got into as a teenager. I got a copy of “Behold The Beginning” at Best Buy in Stone Mountain, Georgia and I was amazed at what I heard. You guys have one of the most unique sounds in rock and I hope you never stop playing!
