As a matter of course, DIAMOND HEAD that laid the groundwork for HEAVY METAL guitar riffs affect a lot of bands. Their 1st album LIGHTNING TO THE NATIONS had many originals.
For examples, the intro part of SEEK AND DESTROY (METALLICA / KILL ' EM ALL album 1983) was similar to the main guitar riff of SUCKING MY LOVE, and the riff that between 1st guitar solo and 2nd guitar solo of HIT THE LIGHTS was similar to the guitar riff of THE PRINCE on latter half of the intro part.
Then, the guitar solo of the introduction part of MEGADETH's VICTORY(YOUTHANASIA album 1994), and the intro guitar solo of OFFSPRING's AMERICANA(1998) were very similar to the guitar solo of THE PRINCE.
