In his down time with Diamond Head, Karl has just put the finishing touches on a solo project with fellow partner in crime Dodge Turner, the lads from The Midlands NEW Project is called “Too Close For Missiles” and the album titled Switching to Guns.

It was produced and engineered by Karl and all songs are co-written with Dodge, along with Artwork by Dave Gardner.

The album was mixed in the UK by Karl, Sheena Sear and Mark Stuart at M2 studios, and features an eclectic mix of new songs.

Two songs; ‘Miles’ and ‘Nothing Left To Lose’ appear in the recently released Indie film “DIY”. Karl also plays drums on two additional Bloodroot tracks also included in the soundtrack.
